Pet Chaplain® offers veterinary pastoral care to people who are grieving the loss of a pet.
If you live in the Research Triangle Area of Raleigh, Durham or Chapel Hill or surrounding vicinities in North Carolina, join us at the Pet Loss Support Group (PLSG) of the SPCA of Wake County. We meet on the 3rd Sunday of each month from 3:30-5:30PM. The group is open to the public.
If you want to learn how to support others who grieve the loss of a pet, or become a commissioned Pet Chaplain® we offer training.
This site is maintained by Dr. Rob Gierka, Commissioned Pet Chaplain® and founder and president of the Association for Veterinary Pastoral Education, a North Carolina nonprofit. The work of this organization is dedicated to not-for-profit purposes of veterinary pastoral care and education. Pet Chapel® and Pet Chaplain® are registered service marks.
